This release is primarily focused on Point of Sale and the broader retail market that ManageMore is now capable of addressing. We've integrated Touch Screen Technology, dozens of security and fraud prevention features during the invoice process, better handling of coupons, better way of doing refunds, and a better overall POS system that is now mostly its own stand-alone product.
In fact, don't expect to find any point-of-sale within the ManageMore Business Software. This new release makes a big distinction between using ManageMore Business Software as an A/R,A/P,G/L system and ManageMore POS as a retail based point of sale solution. Don't worry... its still one integrated database solution that requires no synchronization or import/export process like our competition. Using the ManageMore POS system instantly updates all financials and back-end processes like it always has. You now have a choice on whether you want to manage inventory processes from either the ManageMore Business Software application or the ManageMore POS application.
Other notable improvements are a simple cash drawer management system, a cleaner and more integrated time clock system around the POS application, customizable POS skin layouts, buttons and more.
ManageMore 8.0 will also require that all computer screen resolutions are set to a minimum 1024x768 to view properly. Almost all windows have been expanded to show a larger data view and provide more functionality with the extra screen real estate provided.
